Feeling stuck in the little things? Here's a fresh perspective
You made it through the day, but did anything actually get done?
I know that feeling all too well.
Between math lessons, laundry piles, read-aloud, and trying to get dinner on the table, homeschooling (and parenting in general) can feel like a never-ending to-do list. And while none of it feels particularly grand or impressive, Jesus reminds us:
"If you are faithful in the little things, you will be faithful in the large ones." (Luke 16:10)
That verse hit me recently. Because the truth is, the “little things” are the big things.
Folding laundry? A win.
Reading another chapter with your 9-year-old? A big win.
Dinner together as a family? Huge.
Every one of these moments matters. They're building something eternal—and they’re exactly the kind of faithfulness God honors.
That’s the heart behind my devotional, Equipped to Educate: 31 Days of Biblical Empowerment for Homeschooling Parents—a month-long journey through Scripture and reflection written just for homeschooling parents like you. It’s here to help you see your everyday efforts the way God sees them: sacred, valuable, and more than enough.
If you’ve ever felt like you're not doing enough, this book was written with you in mind.
